The Professional Clothing Show in Partnership with Safety & Health Expo
The Professional Clothing Show 2016 was bigger and better than ever before and by partnering with Safety & Health Expo it was more jam-packed with safety solutions and seminars. Taking place during Health and Safety Week, this year's show featured a LIVE Catwalk, inspirational keynotes, seminars, the Professional Clothing Awards and much more.
Opened by Yvette Ashby, Managing Director of Professional Clothing director-e, Show and Awards, Heather Beach, Director at UBM, and Tom Mullarkey, Chief Executive of RoSPA, this year's event was dedicated to "transforming safety from a culture of compliance to one of engagement" with over 100 hours free educational seminar content.
Safety & Health Expo continues to go from strength to strength, with the 2015 show celebrating a 43% increase in visitors and by partnering with The Professional Clothing Show in 2016, the exhibition continues to grow. The doors to ExCeL, London opened between 21st - 23rd June and offered more than ever before.
By incorporating with The Professional Clothing Show, Safety & Health Expo 2016 showcased the widest range of PPE in the UK under one roof. Over 20,000 health and safety products and solutions were on display from 300+ suppliers including PPE, training, eLearning, behavioural safety, occupational health, asbestos awareness, noise control, ergonomics, drug and alcohol testing and driver safety, plus visitors to Professional Clothing Show could also source uniforms and workwear that comply with safety regulations which were showcased on a LIVE Catwalk.
The SHE LIVE Catwalk run four times a day and received huge praise from attendees. Split into two fashion shows, Corporate and Professional Clothing Fashion Show and Workwear and PPE Fashion Show, the area was surrounded by visitors and exhibitors across the exhibition. With chorography by Debbie Astell, from Times Two Productions, the fashion shows showcased clothing from Cintas, Dimensions, Scott Safety, WG Industries, Berendsen, Keela, Arco, Regatta and Project 20/20 Student Designers.
Visitors also benefited from over 80+ hours of CPD seminars and workshops, including expert health & safety speakers, John Green, Jason Anker and Tim Marsh. The Professional Clothing Show also held conferences in between the fashion shows with key industry figures including Ed Gibbon, President of Alvanon Inc, Robin Foulkes, Military Product Specialist at W.L.Gore & Associates and Brain McCarthy Director of TechniTex, talking about hot topics in the industry. Topics ranged from Protection, Comfort & Sustainability in PPE, Environmental Challenges and Responsibly in Workwear to 'Undressing' the hidden dangers and Risks in Global Supply Chains and Innovations in Wearable Technology.
Also as part of Safety & Health, EMEA's Protection & Management Series, the UK's largest event dedicated to protecting and managing property, people and information returned. The series incorporates major events including Safety & Health Expo along with IFSEC International, FIREX International, Facilities Show, Professional Clothing Show and Service Management Expo, annually attracting more than 40,000 attendees over three days to ExCeL London. The series of events will return again next year from 20th - 22nd June in 2017.
